Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
My fitness journey began in childhood as a competitive gymnast, where movement became an integral part of my life, providing both stress relief and a sense of community. My passion for resistance training was sparked early on through strength and conditioning coaches. After a back injury in high school forced me to step away from gymnastics, I spent months in physical therapy, which eventually allowed me to resume tumbling. I pursued my passion for fitness further at Azusa Pacific University, where I was a member of the acrobatics and tumbling team and earned a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. My desire to become a personal trainer led me to start coaching personal training and group classes during my second year of college. My background focuses on enhancing clients' lives by helping them build functional strength for everyday activities, while taking a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, and soul. After graduating, I earned the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, which equipped me to improve performance, support recovery, and optimize nutrition.
I am deeply passionate about understanding my clients' underlying goals and motivations. I believe that uncovering each person’s deeper “why” can help them find the motivation to overcome challenges. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of dedication in the gym, both mentally and physically.
